Andrea's Blog (Contiki Tour)

Budget Tours
Concept/Budget tours are exactly that – a budget way to see the best a tour has to offer. As with all Contiki tours, there is loads of included sightseeing, free time and extra excursions. At many places you will stay there are shared facilities including bathrooms, showers, bars, shops, sports facilities, swimming pools, nightclubs, sometimes nearby beaches to soak up the sun! Theme Parties during evenings with down time are also common on many Concept/Budget Tours. Plus with Budget tours youget Site Reps- are Contiki staff, guys and girls your age, who live and work at our European campsites and Special Stopovers. Great fun-loving people whose role it is to cook, clean, and everything else in between

Camping Tours

Camping Tours
Camping Tours stay in 2-person tents (provided by Contiki) that are easy to put up and if you don’t have someone to share with you road crew can help arrange for you to share with someone. Air mattresses are also provided but you must bring your own sleeping bag and towel

You can sing on the bus, its the Contiki Day songs!

Sitting on a bus for several hours a day can get kind of bland especially when your so eager to get out, stretch and get to your next event, but trust me, there are bus backups i call it or in other words what they call the contiki day songs! this is a contiki tradition that has been endured for decades, the songs are chosen by the Tour manager, Driver or tour cook for those who are doing camping tours only. Dont worry though you can add certain songs that you like to the list. These are memories you won't ever forget.
